Systems-Biology: a modern vision of life.
Now its time for thinking to joint all of the data generate in divergent discipline
and analyse them all together.
Congratulatin for your symposium. Like you our research center focus on Systems-Biology and there will be a new symposium at Montreal Canada with bright speakers from all around the word.
The Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) is a new center with the theme Systems-Biology to guide their development.
Its why there will be the first Canadian symposium in Systems Biology in Immunology and Cancer the next summer in the middle of July.
Stay tune more news will come soon.

hey can u plz help me in understanding synthetic biology more by referring me some good sites or data.
Hello people I'm new at this site. I would like to ask any of you for some advice on people that work in the fields of systems/synthetic biology in Europe. I enjoy research in design principles of biological networks (genetic, signaling), mathematical modeling and control theory. I'm looking for a supervisor with new and exciting ideas and good to work with. Thanks for any possible suggestions. maria
Simon, how many presentations are linked via the Crowdvine site? Matthew
Photos from BioSysBio are now appearing on Flickr. Have a look at http://www.flickr.com/photos/biosysbio08/ to see if you start in them!
You'll be pleased to know that most of the presentations from BioSysBio 2008 are now available for viewing at www.iet.tv. Just put "biosysbio" in the search field and they will come up. You do not need to be an IET member to view them (but we'd love you to become a member!) So whether you want to review your own performance or glance again at a great presentation you only need to visit www.iet.tv. Peter Wellstead's Tustin Lecture; Systems Biology... [read more]
Hey Caitlin,
It was good meeting you, I'm sorry we didn't get more time to chat.
I find the area that you are working in is really interesting. If there are any meetings or workshops around Lon/Oxf/Cam area in your field, I'd be interested in attending. Keep in touch!
Best, /Mattias
Hey, I hope ur doing great back in Bologna. You didn't say you liked Jazz, we should've looked for some in London after hours. I'm really sorry about the map of London, I've got it :/
Hi All, I am looking for some pictures of the art exhibit we had over the BioSysBio dinner (on monday night, with the students from the Royal College of Art). Let me know if you have taken some. thanks, Vincent.
Hi All!

Hey I'm great thanks. Travelling home went quite well, we got to the airport in plenty of time to get our flight. We just couldn't risk staying late at the conference and getting caught in rush-hour traffic. Did anything interesting happen after we left?
Yo man, i see you finally managed to choose a picture for your profile. Keep in touch..Good luck with your climbings..
Ehi Scott, how are you?
I hope the travel back was good...

Hi there, is anyone interested in contributing to the "Practical Biobrick Issues" workshop? I wanted to talk/discuss about Biobrick management and our attempt to create a Biobrick community at the CRG, but other practical issues are (1) Biobrick formats and compatibility, (2) standards for data exchange, measurements, (3) [add your suggestion] ... ! Greetings, Raik
Anyone who would like to contribute to the Open Science workshop on the Tuesday of the conference feel free to drop me a line or collar Julius Lucks or John Cumbers. We want to have a good discussion about how to be open, when to be open, as well as developing the first draft of a 'Charter for Open Science and Scientists'. Get in on the ground and contribute to the discussion that may change the way we do our science. Cheers Cameron
We're running a Lecture and Dinner at The IET in Savoy Place on Thursday, 1 May 2008 to be given on the above topic by Peter Wellstead who is Science Foundation Ireland Research Professor of Systems Biology at the Hamilton Institute, National University of Ireland. The lecture is free to attend and there is a charge for dinner if you wish to attend. See www.theiet.org/tustin for more details and to register.
If you found the BioSysBio crowdwine site, and are not yet registered for the BioSysBio conference, please go to the conference website for more information and registration: http://conferences.theiet.org/biosysbio/
Ready to help. Anytime. Just email me. =)
